George was elected circuit judge of Randolph County in 1969, serving until 1976. Since 1977, he has practiced law, focusing on civil, criminal, DUI, divorce, real estate, family, land, and estate administration matters across all West Virginia circuit courts, the U.S. District Court, and the West Virginia Supreme Court of Appeals.
His notable achievements include serving as the first chairman of the West Virginia Judicial Education Committee, graduating from the National Judicial College, and being named West Virginia’s Top Man of the Year in 1970. In 2017, he received a Lifetime Achievement Award from America’s Top 100 Attorneys.
George is married to Norma and has a beautiful family of three sons, daughters-in-law, and four grandchildren.
